Jenn's background is in office administration. She has several years of experience working with multiple departments and managers; and also has experience in business management. She enjoys giving back to others, and has volunteered with the school PTA and for a local women's shelter.

Jenn is a native of New Mexico, a mother of two busy teenagers, and has been married for 22 years. She loves to travel and has been involved with outdoor activities since she was a teenager; her love for hiking and skiing has taken her all over the Western United States. She also enjoys scrapbooking and photography, and has even started her own blog.

David Diaz

David Diaz
Website Developer

Originally from Pennsylvania, David had grown up spending countless days hiking sections of the Appalachian Trail and skiing in the New England mountains. Upon moving to Albuquerque, NM, his outdoor pursuits quickly expanded to climbing and backcountry skiing in the Rockies and the Cascades of the West. Dave has recently moved to Salt Lake City, UT, and is pursuing a career in Web development. Aside from providing his Web development skills to The Mountain Fund, he also volunteers his time to the Adaptive Adventures program, which offers outdoor sports opportunities and instruction to people with disabilities.

Lea Weston
Administrative Volunteer

Lea has been a volunteer for The Mountain Fund since 2006. She has helped with newsletters, marketing, fundraising, and donations. She gives credit to The Mountain Fund for educating her about porters' working conditions and for indirectly introducing her to rock climbing.

Tammy Wetzl
Administrative Volunteer

Tammy lives in New Jersey, and has been a volunteer for several years. She recently published her first book, "On a Donkey's Back", which is a book of poetry and illustrations provided by porters from Nepal. With more than fifty poems and various pieces of scanned artwork, the reader receives a glimpse into this relatively unknown lifestyle. Click HERE to visit our online gallery, and find her book in the Poetry section.
